blog (in no particuar order bad spelling an' all) hey right on glad you're here, it's a new year, big show march 26th, at The Show Cave 3501 eagle rock, on eagle rock, in glassel park; 90065(even if i linked it, you'd still lookit up on your own, so why spoil your fun) with wizard sleeve, static static, Francis Harold and the Holograms, Modern Witch, Sea Horse Hobbit Bight, and return of... The Bottle Jackson and Off, I'm kiddin about those last two, ya never know though, might be my new band next week... The show is Called We OOze for a zine Keenan Marshall Keller, maybe you've heard of him, he's Treasurer for the IMAGINARY "fan" CLUB, yeah talk to him about where your patch and t-shirt are that you ordered; i gave'em to him I swear, that shit's between you and him. But this show We OOze for Drippy Bone Books is gonna be great, it's bands that have art in the zine being released that night, some of the zines have songs in the bands that are playin that night, art will be on the wall, cd's that compliment the zine and the bands and the walls and the flooring and they compliment EVERYTHING, and they're uch nice people too, these zines... I'm gonna be sellin un-"imaginable" street food during the show holy shit it's been a while i don't even know where to start, except for look out 2010, because if it's anything like 2009, it's goinna be more than fine. as the flyer on the front says big show coming up here, jim hamilton, terp2it, bebe mcphereson, and barry holiday, man oh man, that's gonnna be a good one Friday the thirteenth @ The Show Cave was a great show, thanks to all of you who braved the cold wet weather to warm your soul with some serious entertainment, Pleaseeasaur, please, that guy is insane, Randy Normal jeans?, give me a break, what a freak, Maren Mclaren M. Ron Hubbard n' Stuff; she has balls of steel, can't wait to share a bill with her again and see all of YOU again . . . also I played El Cid Monday night, it was a short set some makeshift benefit for some guy who was in jail for something that they refused to explain which was, uh, strange for a benifit, usually you want to know what it's for, and had i known it was for a benifit for someone I don't know or the situation they are INCARCERATED for, I may not do the gig, "oh he's in jail for beating up three homosexual mexican teenagers that rode their bikes to close to him while he was driving his hummer down a residential street." Yeah, i may not want to do THAT benifit. Anyway, I met a great comedian that night Ian Harvie, you should keep your eyes and ears peeled for this act, very good material, very good, not your everyday observations AT ALL! I'm off to Peru, possibly to gig, more on that when I return, until then take care, see you in your mind! Sit n' Spin was amazing, never has an animal been so tamed as in this situation; "Who exactly was tamed?" you ask? Ha Ha Ha, that's funny . . . I like: Cold Town Theatre, Terp2it, Frantic Clam, AutoMusick, Tia Carrera, Porkchop Screenprinting, Mandola's, Saltlick, The Low Lows, Midnight Society, Beauty Bar of Austin, Club Deville, Party Ends Show Cave Records is SERIOUS about putting out a 7inch . . . I don't have the heart to tell them I'm not THAT serious about IMAGINE "the" BAND; seriously, I think . . . Toltimach Private Trade Technical Coorespondence College / Institutional Reformatory Boys School has decided to release my Diploma if I never mention their name in relation to ANYTHING I do; fat chance; they made me what I am today!
